Here are some of dealers’ favorite features of the Mobile XRM application.

Driver’s License Scanning

Save time and improve accuracy with the driver’s license scanning feature. Pull vital customer information right from their license – and push this data directly to your DMS.

From the main screen of the app or from the pull-out menu on the left, tap Driver’s License Scan. Align the license in the box on your screen and tap to focus. Ensure the image isn’t blurry or illegible, as this will prevent the app from pulling customer details from the license.

Mobile XRM intuitively searches your customer database to compare the details from the license. If an existing customer record is found, the license information is added to that record. If no matches are found, a new customer record is automatically created within XRM. Plus, once a deal is initiated, this customer information is pushed to required forms, eliminating the possibility of mistypes and saving you the hassle of reentering customer information.

VIN Scanning for Trade-ins

Similar to the driver’s license scanning feature, the VIN scanning feature allows you to cut a lengthy process significantly with simple functionality.

Tap on Showroom Manager and select a showroom event. At the bottom of your screen, select either +T1 or +T2 to add a trade-in vehicle for that customer. Tap Scan at the bottom to read the vehicle’s barcode and pull information right into the app. You can also push this information directly to your Sales Manager, so they can immediately start structuring a deal, dramatically improving the customer experience by providing them a faster, more accurate process.

SMS Messaging and Email Capabilities

Sending a quick email or text message to your customers is easier than ever with Mobile XRM. From a customer’s record within the app, tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner to open a menu of options and select Send Text Message. This will open a simple form for you to complete a text message to send to that customer. Plus, you can even attach a video from your device’s gallery or record a new one.

To send the customer an email, tap the blue Email icon at the top of the customer’s record to open a new email message prepopulated with your default email template.

Showroom Manager

Manage your showroom activity right from your device with this feature. The Showroom Manager gives you at-a-glance data so you can quickly track and update showroom appointments and visits to keep the sale moving.

Tap Showroom Manager to open a list of the current day’s showroom activity, from the last to the first visit or appointment. View the time, customer name, salesperson, and vehicle right from this list, plus whether the customer walked, was sold, will be back, and more. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to open a calendar to jump to a specific date instantly, or use the left and right arrows at the bottom of your screen to view previous or following days’ showroom activity.

Tap on a showroom activity record to view and edit a variety of details, including:

  • Customer data and co-buyer information
  • Salesperson, department, and appointment details
  • Vehicle details, including stock number and model year
  • Generic sources – such as Internet, BDC, and more – as well as specific sources, including Trade-in Valet®
  • Toggle switches to mark which parts of the process were completed, such as Service Walk, Manager Turnover, and more
  • Delivered date and purchase status
  • Non-purchase reason and notes

From the bottom of the showroom activity record, you can also jump to the customer record, add a trade-in vehicle, save the activity record to your device, and pull a new credit report.

Click-to-Call Functionality 

Tap on any phone number within Mobile XRM to open your device’s dialer and make a call to a customer, without the need to write down or remember their number.
